Our client, a rapidly growing consumer goods business with a strong online and retail presence, is seeking an experienced *** Warehouse & Logistics Operations Manager *** to take ownership of its warehouse, inventory, fulfilment and international logistics operations.This is a hands-on management role for someone who is equally comfortable leading a team, improving processes and supporting day-to-day warehouse activity.The successful candidate will play a key role in improving stock accuracy, strengthening operational processes and supporting continued growth across the UK and Europe.Warehouse & Logistics Operations Manager - Key ResponsibilitiesManage the day-to-day running of the warehouseLead, support and develop the warehouse teamEnsure orders are picked, packed and dispatched accurately and on timeMaintain accurate stock records within the company's ERP systemInvestigate and resolve stock discrepanciesOversee cycle counts, stock takes and inventory reconciliationsImprove warehouse layouts, stock locations and storage processesCoordinate UK, European and international shipmentsWork with freight forwarders, customs agents and courier partnersOversee fulfilment across online marketplaces, B2B and European customersMonitor courier, warehouse and shipment performanceMaintain operational procedures, training guides and warehouse documentationIdentify and implement continuous improvements across the operationEnsure health and safety procedures and company policies are followed Warehouse & Logistics Operations Manager - Candidate ProfileThe successful candidate will ideally have: Previous experience as a Warehouse Manager, Logistics Manager or similarForklift Truck (FLT) experience (ideally counterbalance and stacker)Experience leading a warehouse or fulfilment teamStrong inventory management and stock-control knowledgeExperience using warehouse management, stock-control or ERP systemsExperience coordinating international shipments and shipping documentationGood knowledge of freight, courier and customs processesStrong organisational and problem-solving skillsExcellent attention to detailConfidence using Microsoft ExcelA hands-on and practical approach to managementExperience with online marketplace fulfilment, consumer goods, serial-controlled stock or European logistics would be advantageous.Warehouse & Logistics Ops Manager - PackageSalary up to £40,000 per annum (DOE)20 days' annual leave plus bank holidaysCompany pensionSick payFree on-site parkingKitchen facilities with refreshments availableCompany events and social activitiesCareer progression opportunitiesSalary reviews and annual bonus potentialTime off in lieu for additional hours worked during peak periodsThis is an excellent opportunity to join a successful and growing business where you will have the autonomy to improve warehouse operations, strengthen inventory controls and build a team capable of supporting future growth.
