Events Administrator
It's supporting the team to deliver extraordinary events Supporting the Head of Events and their team you'll be involved in the many remarkable and varied activities that form the official and private Royal calendar. Key responsibilities You'll provide administrative support to the team, coordinating the internal room booking process and managing the events queries inbox.You’ll also play a contributing role in the co-ordination of a variety of Royal and internal events including collating and cross-checking guest lists, writing invitations, producing admittance cards and name badges.With responsibility for handling and filing all paperwork coming through the department, you’ll ensure we comply with records management and keep the operation running smoothly.As you develop in the role, you’ll become more involved in other aspects of event planning such as advising on event requirements and arranging external contractors.Keeping up with a busy and ever-changing schedule will be critical. You'll play a vital role within the department, effectively communicating event information to all operational teams and stakeholders to ensure a smooth delivery of each booking.And you'll always be one step ahead. Whether you're helping to co-ordinate a small board meeting or a Royal function for two hundred, you'll guarantee the highest standard of delivery. Essential Criteria Ideally you’ll have some relevant customer service experience and an ambition to start your career in Events administration and management.You’ll have strong IT skills, with confidence across a range of software packages and systems. You’ll be comfortable picking up new technologies and using them effectively.Your attention to detail will be exceptional, ensuring that all tasks are completed accurately and to a high standard.You're a natural organiser, able to handle multiple priorities and work to short deadlines.You'll also be a confident communicator, with excellent written and verbal communication skills, and able to build professional relationships with a wide range of people and seniority.A real team player, you're able to work flexibly and effectively even when things get busy.
