Positive Employment is currently recruiting for a Culture And Events Development Officer for our client a local government organisation in Bristol. The successful candidate will develop and deliver a range of markets and other cultural activities to support St Nicholas Market and Broadmead. Working with individuals, culture and event organisations, businesses and other high street stakeholders to animate and generate footfall at St Nicholas Market and in Broadmead. This role is a 2 month initial contract with the possibility to extend. THIS ROLE IS FULLY OFFICE BASED. WEEKEND WORKING, Saturday and Sunday + 3 days working Mon - Fri (flexible on days). Working Hours: 37hrs / 9:00am - 17:00pm / Monday to Friday Pay: £22.09 per hr Please note this role is within the scope of IR35.

You will work closely with your Project Managers, effectively prioritising their requirements, managing your own workload, and collaborating with team members.  -    Assist the Project Managers with event administration - event proposals through research, administrative support, and budget input. -    Build and maintain strong relationships with colleagues, clients, attendees, suppliers, and logistics teams by supporting regular project meetings. -    Contribute to project budgeting and ensure purchase orders are raised promptly. -    Assist in preparing and scheduling post-event debriefs with clients, internal teams, and suppliers. -    Carry out any other tasks as appropriate for the role. THE CANDIDATE This role is open to candidates with varied levels of experience, ideally with a background as an Administrator or a PA in a similar events or project-based environment.  Strong attention to detail, able to input data quickly, accurately, and thoroughly.
