One of London’s most recognised international law firms is looking to hire a new Events Executive to assist with the execution of their new events programs, supporting firmwide BD & marketing initiatives in their London Headquarters based in spectacular offices next to City Thameslink station. Salary £40,000 - £44,000Hybrid working - 3 days in the office / 2 days remote - Standard hours 9:30am to 5:30pmChancery Lane / City Thameslink The Events Executive will help implement events (live and virtual) for the London office, and occasional external venues. Reporting into the Events Manager, you will support with managing the events pipeline for the full annual events programme. This will involve communicating effectively with Business Development team, Partners and Business Services to ensure a consistent and first class service is provided from start to finish as well as being onsite to ensure the smooth running of events. Events Executive Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with Partners and BD Managers to discuss events briefs, providing advice and ideas as appropriate.Oversee a range of events from start to finish, including administrative and practical support such as bookings, equipment, digital delivery, managing invite lists, catering etc.Liaise with external speakers to book rehearsals, events etc. Maintain the Events Calendar logging new events and updating as required.Update intranet pages and liaise with Business Services to ensure other firmwide events are documented.Oversee event budgets and report to the Events Manager to ensure costs are within agreed budgets, oversee payments and handle invoice queries.Review and ensure any marketing collateral used for events meet with the Firm’s brand standards.Support on the delivery the Partners Conference and other high profile internal events. Manage the requests for external hospitality events (sports, music, etc).Build relationships with external agencies and venues.Adhere to Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) Standards and Regulations, and Principles. Events Executive Key Skills & Requirements: Minimum 2 years, relevant hands-on events experience, preferably in a law firm.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Experience using InterAction and Vuture would be beneficial.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.Happy to work independently but also with a willingness to work collaboratively as a member of a team with a positive, can-do attitude.Ability to follow directions, multi-task, and work quickly within a framework where priorities often shift and/or conflict.High level of attention to detail and meticulous follow-through.
