***EVENTS COORDINATOR*** We're on the lookout for a highly organised and proactive Events Coordinator to work on a permanent part-time basis - 4 days a week (Mon-Thurs, 28 hours). This is the perfect role for someone who is confident juggling both event planning and administrative support. Salary £26,835 - £28,163 pro rata (DOE) + excellent pension contributions and on-site parking In this unique role, you'll work closely with the Town Mayor and their team supporting day-to-day administration while taking the lead on ceremonial and civic events from concept to completion. Key responsibilities for the Events Coordinator include Coordinate all ceremonial events and civic functions, ensuring everything runs smoothly on the dayProvide administrative support to the Town Mayor and office team including diary management, invites, and updating recordsAct as the first point of contact for all general enquiriesLiaise with venues, suppliers, and community partners to deliver well-organised, fun community eventsSupport on-site event management with a hands-on approachCarry out other duties relevant to the post as needed The ideal Events Coordinator will need, Proven experience in both event planning/coordination and administration essentialStrong organisational skills and attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skillsConfident with IT systems and reporting toolsFlexible, can-do attitude with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasksKnowledge of local council operations or similar environments is helpful, but not essential
