Average Estimator salary in Norwich

I am looking for an experienced Estimator to join a well-established company in Norwich. They are looking for someone who has a minimum of 5 years’ experience working within the construction industry and has strong ability to interpret specifications and drawings. Excellent Excel, analytical and numerical skills are essential together with a good understanding of construction methods and sequencing.Ideal candidate will have a degree in Quantity Surveying/Building and/or Construction Management and knowledge of cost planning and commercial risk management.Key Responsibilities:Review and interpret architectural drawings and design information.Break down project documentation to identify scope, risks, gaps and cost drivers.Develop clear pricing structures.Prepare detailed cost estimates.Carry out quantification and take-offs from drawings.Obtain quotations from specialist subcontractors and suppliers.Analyse quotes against specifications.
