Real Estate Lawyer
Our client is a well-established and innovative City firm with a client base ranging from entrepreneurs, Family Offices, and start-ups to well-established household brands and multinational companies, drawn from financial services, technology, fashion, and professional services sectors. The firm's Real Estate teams include investors from the Middle East and Far East as well as a number of UK-based private property investment businesses. The team has a very strong reputation in acting for corporate occupiers, many of whom feature in the industrial and prime London office sectors. The team has developed a reputation for its expertise in handling Prime London commercial property portfolio work, acting for UHNWs and Family Offices; Hotel Restaurant and Leisure clients, Development and PCL residential work, and corporate occupier work (and particularly acting for fast growth tech and global venture capital companies). There is now a gap in the team for a mid-level Real Estate Lawyer. In this role, you will handle predominantly high value commercial real estate work, including investment acquisitions and disposals as well as landlord and tenant and management work, and supporting clients in achieving their occupational real estate strategies. In order to be considered for this position you will be a mid-level Real Estate Lawyer. Experience of high profile and high value real estate work gained in the London market is strongly preferred. You will most likely have: Training and PQE (probably between 2 and 4 years') in commercial real estate law, ideally gained from the London office of a City, International, or high quality regional firm;A strong academic background, proven technical skills, and the ability to approach real estate transactions creatively;A good understanding of the real estate market;A common sense, down-to-earth approach;Commerciality, and the ability to work in a sometimes fast-paced, intellectually challenging environment; andThe ability to deal with clients and colleagues in a relaxed and confident manner.
