Engineer
New role working for food manufacturing business in the Leicester area for a Site Services and Facilities Engineer. Monday to Friday - 6am-2pm/ 2pm-10pm rotation. The Role: To support the running of the new factory by resolving breakdowns, delivering maintenance and driving improvements across the site and site services in terms of new machinery, hygiene, quality, and performance. Key Responsibilities Carry out all maintenance across site services and site facilities.Attend to breakdowns onsite ensuring and reduce downtime of site plant and machineryCarry out repairs to plant and equipment during productionCarry out PPM onsiteCarry out daily checks on all site servicesCore facility and utilities services such as steam boilers and associated pipework, air compressors, water treatment system, CIP room checks, effluent plant, ammonia plant room and other refrigeration systems, water softeners, water pumps to ensure compliance and optimum availabilityDeliver on plant uptime and maintenance KPI’s through planned, preventative & predictive maintenance and improve OEEMaintaining tools and equipmentMake sure all chemical and bacterial checks/tests of cooling tower water are taking place as per internal schedule You: Experience in engineering experience, preferably in manufacturingMulti-skilled with formal engineering qualification to NVQ Level 3 or higher, in an electrical and or mechanical subject and / or Nationally recognised apprenticeship in an engineering disciplinePossess 17th or 18th Edition Certification.Possess Steam utilization and boiler house training certificationHealth and Safety/Basic Food Hygiene trainedExperience in managing contractors on-siteHave a proactive approach to fault finding, a commitment to continuous improvementComputer literate and a working knowledge of MS Office and a PPM systemAbility to understand electrical and mechanical drawings/manuals Salary & Benefits: Competitive basic salary with Enhanced sick pay31days holiday including bank holidaysExtra day off for life events or birthdaysLife insurance, access to a wellness program and AXA Virtual GPDiscounts on mobile phone contracts, gym memberships and more with PerkBoxPension Interested?
