In addition, your key responsibilities will also include: Working closely with the Operations Director to lead, manage and develop a customer focused engineering teamTo embed best practises in continuous improvement, value engineering and design for manufacturingEngagement with the relevant stake holder's customers, suppliers and manufacturers to drive improvements in reliability and cost of goodsPlay a key role in interpreting customer needs, being the Voice of the Customer both internally and externally and be directly involved in the development and introduction of new products The CandidateIdeally with a Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, this role requires an individual with extensive knowledge of "best practises" in CI, value engineering, DFM, together with NPD/NPI.
