Chartered Associate Fire Engineer A leading multidisciplinary consultancy is seeking a highly experienced Chartered Associate Fire Engineer to join their established fire engineering team in Birmingham or Manchester. This organisation works on complex, high-profile projects across the built environment and is now looking to strengthen its senior technical capability due to continued growth. Chartered Associate Fire Engineer - Role As a Chartered Associate Fire Engineer, you will be a key member of the fire engineering discipline, able to lead medium-to-large projects and support the delivery of complex fire strategies across multiple sectors. Your role will include: Leading the delivery of fire engineering design, fire strategy development and engineered solutionsOverseeing modelling outputs, including CFD analysis and evacuation modelling, ensuring technical accuracy and qualityManaging and coordinating project teams, acting as technical lead and senior point of contact for clientsMentoring and supervising Graduate and Intermediate Engineers, supporting their pathway to chartershipProviding expert guidance on building regulations, fire safety standards and legislative complianceAssist with tender submissions and PQQ completionsEngaging confidently with clients, design teams and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomesSupporting business development activities and contributing to continued growth within the regionDriving technical excellence and contributing to internal standards, procedures and best practice Chartered Fire Engineer / Associate Fire Engineer Requirements Chartered Engineer (CEng) status - essentialExtensive experience working as a Chartered Associate Fire Engineer or equivalent senior-level positionStrong technical capability in fire engineering design, modelling, and development of fire strategiesProficiency with modelling toolsExcellent understanding of UK fire safety legislation, building regulations and industry guidanceDemonstrable experience managing complex projects and leading multidisciplinary teamsStrong communication and consultancy skills, with confidence engaging clients at senior levelAbility to support and mentor engineers progressing toward chartershipDesire to contribute to technical excellence, innovation and long-term business growth What's On Offer?
