Our client, a specialist engineering company, is seeking an experienced Architect to demonstrate their multitude of skills and talents across a variety of Rail projects. The client offers a long-term programme of work starting on a 6-monthcontract based out of their main London office. -Competitive hourly rate of £35-£45 (subject to experience).-Hybrid office based working arrangement.Responsibilities:-Manage and oversee detailed architectural design proposals for a variety of Rail projects, from concept and feasibility through to design. -Create concise technical drawings, models, construction documentation, and specifications, following current regulations and policies. -Liaise with multidisciplinary consultants to efficiently implement all elements of constructability maintenance, design, and performance reports and reviews. -Build and maintain rapport with clients, allowing for effective communication, to present design concepts, respond to feedback, and maintain overall quality.-Conduct site visits and propose solutions for any on-site challenges or concerns, whilst supporting contractor supervision when necessary.Requirements:-Qualification in Architecture (ARB, RIBA, or similar), or a related discipline. -Has architectural experience working on the design of train stations and rail projects -Has experience across all work stages – concept and detailed design -Significant understanding of Bentley software’s such as MicroStation -Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and other relevant professionals. -Sound organisation skills, with a proactive, problem-solving approach, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
