About the role Big Local Gateshead is a small community lead organisation operating in Teams, Gateshead, governed and operated by passionate local people, with the aim of empowering residents to improve the area in which they live and work. The 4 key community aims of Big Local Gateshead are: Communities will be better able to identify local needs and take action in response to them.People will have increased skills and confidence, so that they continue to identify and respond to needs in the future.The community will make a difference to the needs it prioritises.People will feel that their area is an even better place to live. The charity is looking for this role to help expand operations, increase engagement from the local community, and strengthen relationships with other third-sector organisations.
