We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our small, high-security engineering team. This varied role combines planned maintenance, reactive repairs, new installations, and project upgrades across multiple sites. You will work independently on technical drawings and specifications, taking ownership of quality, safety, and compliance.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs, including fault-finding, testing, and certification.Install, commission, and verify new electrical systems to current standards.Support site upgrades and enhancements from technical drawings.Produce accurate documentation, test records, and compliance reports.Ensure all work meets electrical regulations and site safety requirements.Essential RequirementsProven experience in electrical fault-finding, repair, installation, and testing.Ability to read and work from complex drawings with minimal supervision.Strong time management and problem-solving skills.Current SC - Security Clearance.Willingness to undergo Developed Vetting (DV) clearance, required for the sensitive and critical infrastructure sites.DesirableCity & Guilds 2391 (or equivalent) in inspection and testing.Experience in high-security or/and or critical infrastructure environments.What We OfferCompetitive salary and benefits package.Varied, challenging work with autonomy to manage your own projects.Ongoing training and professional development.Supportive team environment.

Fixed Term – Full Time 40 Hours Per Week.We are looking to recruit an Electrician to join our team Westminster Gas team at our Goldney Road office, W9 2AR. This role is fixed term for 16 months.About the RoleWorking to deliver the best quality service, you’ll join us to undertake electrical repairs, testing and installation works across your dedicated area, whilst complying with BS7671, ensuring implementation and compliance is in line with our Health and Safety Policy and procedures.You’ll produce concise and accurate data records through PDA / mobile communication systems and reporting, ensuring tasks are completed right, first time, with materials and timescales both achievable and deliverable.
