Winder/Fitter
We have an exciting opportunity for a Workshop Winder Fitter based in Avonmouth to join one of clients on a full-time permanent basis. Our client is a global engineering company who have seen continuous growth for several decades. Responsibilities of theWorkshop Winder Fitter Dismantle, rewind and reassemble conventional single phase and three phase and small AC/DC motors including pumps, motors, gearboxes and generators.Testing and detailing of AC/DC electrical motor winding.Connection and testing of winding.Carry out incoming inspections of electro-mechanical equipment. Requirements for a successful Workshop Winder Fitter Mechanical time-served and indentured to ONC & HNC, NVQ or equivalent qualifications.Experience within a similar role and working with pumps/gearboxes/motors and fans.Strong Engineering background.Counterbalance forklift licence.Water hygiene qualification desirable.
