Duties will include: Deliver scheduled maintenance, fault diagnosis (remote & on-site), and system upgrades.Use diagnostics to implement preventative measures and reduce downtime.Support design and development of mechanical/electrical systems for new CIP units.Maintain and repair components: pumps, valves, sensors, PLCs, control hardware/software.Participate in fabrication, assembly, and testing of new units.Install and commission systems at client sites, ensuring optimal configuration.Train users and drivers on system operation and safety.Ensure full traceability and audit capability across all servicing and updates.Collaborate with office teams to resolve technical queries and support clients.Provide out-of-hours support via remote access.Working on projects that directly impact food safety and sustainability.Salary: £40,000 - £50,000pa + benefits.Location: On site near Cullompton, plus travel to client sitesHours: Mon – Fri, 8:30am – 5pm and on call out of hours rotaStart Date: ASAP Please note due to location you will need your own transport.Mechanical and Electrical Engineer - The Person:This is a perfect opportunity for an experienced engineer seeking to move to a market leading business where you will be involved in all aspects of engineering operations. This role will suit a proactive individual with proven experience in mechanical and electrical engineering, including fault finding.
