Key ResponsibilitiesConduct thorough psychological assessments using:ObservationsStandardised toolsInterviews with pupils, families, and professionalsProduce high-quality psychological reports to support:EHCP assessmentsIntervention planningProvide clear, actionable recommendations tailored to individual needsWork collaboratively with:Schools and teaching staffFamilies and carersManage a flexible caseload, maintaining high professional standards Working ArrangementsWork delivered across:HomesOnlineFlexible hours based on availabilityOpportunity to complete report writing and admin remotely Essential RequirementsDoctorate in Educational Psychology (DEdPsy) or equivalentRegistration with the Health and Care Professions CouncilEligibility for Chartered Membership with the British Psychological SocietyExperience conducting psychological assessments and writing reportsExperience supporting:SEMH (social, emotional, mental health needs)Autism and ADHDKnowledge of trauma-informed approaches DesirableExperience completing EHCP assessmentsBackground working in:SchoolsLocal authoritiesSpecialist or alternative provision settings Key SkillsExcellent communication and report-writing skillsStrong analytical and assessment abilityAbility to engage children and young people with diverse needsEffective time and caseload managementCollaborative, flexible approach to working About Remedy TutorsRemedy Tutors provides tailored 1:1 education and specialist support for young people who are outside mainstream education or require additional support.
