The role: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Educator Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with children and young people with SEND (special educational needs and disabilities). As an Educator, you will play a vital role in providing educational support and guidance to students across various age groups. Responsibilities:- Onboarding tutors and carrying out training programs for them- Advising tutors with any challenges that they may have with their students- Monitoring progress of students on our books every quarter- Monitoring daily reports- Responsible for continuously improving our progress monitoring with our students- Responsible for risk assessments- Act as a designated safeguarding lead and responsible for safeguarding concerns- Helping the internal team and tutors to understand EHC Plans and the needs of specific children.- Attend meetings with the local authority and schools (ie. annual reviews etc.) Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (required)- Experience working as a SENCo (Special Educational Needs Coordinator)- Proficient in proofreading and communication skills- Experience in understanding EHC Plans Powertutors is an Equal Opportunities Employer.
