Our client is seeking a dedicated Administrator to join their team. This role involves managing various administrative functions within the school, ensuring efficient operation of the school office, and maintaining high standards of data management and communication. You will need to have experience of working within a secondary education setting. Day-to-day of the role: Assist in all aspects of the school's administrative functions, including the management of the school office and reception area.Maintain accurate and up-to-date school database systems containing information on students and staff.Establish and maintain effective educational access programs for students.Provide administrative support to the school's senior leadership team and assist with school admissions and exclusions.Organize and manage school events such as parents' evenings and open days.Handle correspondence, draft letters, and manage incoming and outgoing mail.Take minutes in meetings and handle incoming calls and enquiries.Support the development and implementation of administrative procedures and systems. Required Skills & Qualifications: Previous experience in a school administrative role, demonstrating an understanding of school systems and procedures.Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and capable of managing school database systems.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity.Ability to work flexibly and respond to unplanned situations. This role is term time only 39 weeks of the year, working 36 hours a week
