The Role: As a Renewables Breakdown Engineer, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and repairing renewable energy installations, including central heating and hot water systems. Engineering Team Lead Location: Suffolk Salary: Up to £65,000 Shift pattern - Monday to Friday Days, 40 hours per week This is fantastic opportunity for an Engineering Team Lead with a proven track record, to join a well-established FMCG manufacturer in Suffolk. You will be an essential part of the leadership team for the unit, ensuring strong engineering reliability and performance. Key Responsibilities: Lead and develop a multidisciplinary engineering team (mechanical, electrical, and controls) to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations.Oversee both planned and reactive maintenance activities, fostering a culture of compliance and continuous improvement.Manage engineering budgets and contribute to the delivery of site performance targets.Ensure full compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements (including LOLER, PUWER, DSEAR).Drive the adoption of Lean tools and structured problem-solving techniques across the team.Support capital investment projects and lead defect elimination initiatives.
