Domestic Cleaner
Job Title: Cleaner Location: Nottingham Shift Pattern: 5 days out of 7 - shifts 14.00 pm - 20.00 pm Pay: £11.45 per hour Trust Location: Nottingham University Foundation Trust About the Trust: We deliver district general services to 2.5m residents of Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, and its surrounding communities. Our specialist services allow us to deliver care to 4.5m people from across the East Midlands and nationally for a handful of services. QMC is where our Emergency Department (ED), Major Trauma Centre and the Nottingham Children's Hospital are based. It is also home to the University of Nottingham's School of Nursing and Medical School. Nottingham City Hospital is our planned care site, where our cancer centre, heart centre and stroke services are based, and where some of our emergency admissions units are located. Ropewalk House is where we provide a range of outpatient services, including hearing services. What you'll be responsible for: Our cleaning services team provide and maintain the highest standard of service to patients, visitors, and staff, ensuring the highest degree of cleanliness, safety, and care always. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the hospital and designated wards or departments in line with the national specifications for cleanliness in the NHS. The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above. You'll have the following skills/experience: Knowledge or training equivalent to NVQ level 1 / 2 in cleaning and support servicesKnowledge of cleaning / hygiene COSSH proceduresExperience cleaning in a domestic environmentExperience working with the public.Experience working in a health care setting.
