Our ambition is for pupils to develop self-confidence, independence, and resilience through an engaging and holistic curriculum. This will provide the skills, life experiences, and qualifications pupils need to participate successfully in wider society. We are looking for an English Teacher for September 2025. About You: As a qualified teacher, you will be highly motivated to teach children with special needs to make progress and fulfil their potential. You will have: Successful experience in a school – at least 3 yearsExperience of running and contributing to staff developmentExperience of timetablingRelevant experience of English teaching and of working with children who have ASD Involvement in school self-evaluation and development planningKnowledge of curriculum, assessment, and inspection requirementsA wider interest in working with children, young people, and their parents/carers both inside and outside the classroomThe ability to contribute positively to the overall programme of learning for each student to ensure progressionA focus on pupil outcomes and pupil progressionContribution to learning outside the classroomUnderstanding that safeguarding all children is a top priority: to ensure their safety and wellbeing at all times You should have: A relevant teaching qualification and experience in the classroomInterest in a particular area of learning or the curriculumExperience working within an ASD settingA high degree of initiative and sound judgement when working with children and young peopleAbility to communicate effectively with learners and their parents/carersAbility to work with parentsAbility, patience, and judgement to manage behaviourWillingness to work outside normal school hours to run after-school clubs DEVELOP YOUR CAREER WITH US!
