Finance Business Partner
A superb Finance Business Partner position has arisen in a global market leader in the Hospitality, Travel & Leisure sector based in Surbiton, South West London Client Details Based in South West London and Surrey border, the business is a luxury travel subsidiary and turnover circa £270million. Their parent is owned by a Private Equity firm and are in a period of sustained growth. The business provide luxury travel and leisure holidays, in 2023 they posted record performance and in 2024 they have invested heavily in expanding their offering. Underpinning their strategy to elevate and upgrade their offering to their repeat customer base and to attract to new customers. Description Reporting in to the Finance Director, the Finance Business Partner will be responsible for 3 direct and 4 in-direct reports both in the UK and overseas and be responsible for: Develop, monitor and review consistent financial and operational base KPI'sDevelop monthly reporting packs and work with SLT to provide financial insight and accountabilityReview monthly financial results (as part of month end process), variance analysis and commentary in conjunction with VP Operations and ManagersPrepare monthly forecasts and annual budgets in conjunction with the managers, for review with the Head of Commercial Finance and Finance DirectorBusiness partner with the Central and Operations Managers across the business to provide continuous financial and operational improvement, challenge current ways of working, and drive insight that links financial reports to business strategiesWork closely with the Managers to develop margin, pricing, and profitability analysis, and KPI data for the operationsProvide analysis and insight for managing costs - identifying trends in the spend across business linesAssist in preparation of business cases for new investment opportunities or strategic business decisionsIdentify areas for development and continuous improvement of processesAssist with the annual auditUndertaking any other duties and projects identified Profile A successful Finance Business Partner should have: 5+ years accounting experience; CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualifiedPrevious line manager experienceCommercially minded, ability to use numbers to provide suggestions for business performance enhancementAbility to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, and manage various projects at once, and ability to work under own initiativeStrong communication & influencing skills, particularly in explaining finance information to non-financial colleaguesAttention to detail, highly analytical with the ability to identify data patterns and analyse large volumes of dataAdvanced Excel skills (i.e. V-lookup, Index/Match, pivot tables and pivot charts, macros and VBA, complex nested formulae). Power BI is used so experience or ability to use this will be requiredSAP knowledge preferable but not essentialIntermediate Power Point skills.
