With several decades of experience and ongoing success under their belt, this excellent business are continually expanding their work force, inviting ambitious and knowledgeable professionals to join their team to continue delivering the high standard of service that their customers, located all across the South and Southwest region, have come to expect.This role will join the extensive tax team to provide services relating to shareholder tax advisory services, which will support many of their corporate clients of a variety of sizes. This will be a diverse role working across a range of advisory work, thus meaning that no two days will be the same.Your Roles and Responsibilities:* Preparing and working on risk assessments that will identify tax issues that need highlighting* Collaborating with clients to gain understanding on legal, accounting and commercial background matters to support work * Drafting, preparing and reviewing tax advice* Liaising with HMRC to seek clearances and advance assurance* Ensuring that tax advice is consistent with standards and information by reviewing transaction documents, including tax deeds and warranties* Preparing transaction due diligence reports from company information* Providing insight on international tax, by liaising with non-UK business firms that partner with the company* Mentor and manager junior members of staff, providing training and reviewing work as it is neededWhat you will need to Apply:The ideal candidate for this role will be an ACA or ACCA qualified accountant with strong experience, at least 5 years specifically in tax, with a focus on company taxation, structure and transactions. You should possess excellent technical tax knowledge and have worked on a portfolio of clients in the past. Experience should come from an accountancy practice environment.
