The role: As the Design Manager you will be a key person that is instrumental in the company's ongoing success and will be Reporting to the Contracts Manager in conjuction with the Head of Design and working alongside other Design Managers within the business.Producing design programmes, design scopes, design responsibility matrices, appointments and schedules.Responsible for the management and delivery of design information in line with agreed design programme and deliverable schedule for projects due to commence on site and in progress.Ensuring appointed Design Consultants and Engineers carry out their duties in accordance with their appointment.Attending and chairing necessary meetings with internal and external stakeholders.Value Engineering to achieve desired outcomes and maximise project profitability.Working collaboratively with commercial and delivery teams.Ensure design is compliant with planning conditions and legislative requirements.
