Identify and propose improvements to departmental processes, promoting the adoption of best practices to enhance product development efficiency. Utilize and maintain documentation aligned with the NPD (New Product Development) framework, including tools such as DFM (Design for Manufacturability), DFA (Design for Assembly), and FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis). Support the exploration and integration of new technologies, materials, and methods to benefit current and future product lines. Take ownership of your own professional development in coordination with the Senior Design Engineer or Engineering Manager. Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members, acting as a go-to resource within the department.
