Hays Education are supporting a small Special Needs school in recruiting a temporary senior member of staff to work with them for the rest of the academic year. The details are as follows:The school is approximately a 10-15-minute drive from Birmingham City Centre and is a small school with approximately 50 children on rollThe school describe themselves as a focussed and dedicated school who have young people at the centre of their ethosThe school caters for children at KS4 level with social, emotional and mental health challenges (SEMH)The role is to start as soon as possible and is on a temporary term time only time sheet basis; pay will be at MPS/UPS with TRL and SEN pointThe role entails the following three key areas:Pastoral Lead: overseeing members of staff who are responsible for attendance and home school visits as well as liaising with the school's DSL over child protection and safeguarding concerns.
