Demand Planner
Overview An experienced Demand Planner is required to join a dynamic organisation based in Basingstoke. This role involves overseeing core operational areas including inventory management, purchasing, and quality control. The successful candidate will be responsible for forecasting and forward planning of stock, ensuring optimal inventory levels to meet business demands. In addition, the role will include the production of detailed reports to support operational decisions and maintain efficiency across the supply chain. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive individual with strong organisational and analytical skills, looking to contribute to a fast-paced and supportive working environment. This is a full-time, office based role working Monday to Friday. Key Responsibilities: Monitor and report monthly stock movement to Head OfficeManage order placements with Head Office and suppliersCollaborate with the sales team to gather demand forecasts and ensure accurate stock planningLiaise with internal departments (artwork, operations) to track and follow up on order detailsCoordinate with factories, suppliers, and global offices as necessaryOversee and manage transfer shipments between multiple locations to ensure timely deliveryRun and review inventory reports to maintain optimal stock levelsMaintain accurate item data and product information on internal systemsCreate and update technical documentation such as: Test Reports, Bill of Materials (BoM), Declaration of Conformity, technical filesCollaborate with product development and warehouse teams to ensure product qualityInvestigate and report any quality issues to factories and stakeholders Required skills and experience: Proven experience in demand planning, supply chain, or inventory managementStrong analytical and organisational skillsExcellent communication and stakeholder management abilitiesComfortable working with data and inventory systemsAbility to manage multiple tasks with attention to detailA collaborative mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving
