Senior Insolvency Administrator - Manchester
The Role This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing dynamic organisation. We are looking for an Insolvency Administrator with experience in corporate insolvency to join our Administrations Progressions team. The workload will be varied, covering all forms of corporate insolvency and restructuring. You will also be working alongside our other business divisions including funding and legal services. The Responsibilities: Managing own caseload of Administrations from inception to handover (following conduct report submission), driving case progression and statutory reporting (SIP16, Proposals and Conduct Reports) to a variety of stakeholdersMaximising asset realisations for the benefit of the Administration estate.Ensuring the correct application of corporate insolvency proceduresConducting investigations into the conduct of Directors and company affairsAchieving statutory and regulatory complianceDealing with Directors of insolvent companies, including client visits, as requiredHaving responsibility for additional ad hoc tasks as requiredHaving a degree of autonomy in decision making The Benefits: Salary commensurate with experience23 days holiday allowance + statutory public holidaysContributory Pension Scheme (3% company contribution)Financial support to study towards professional qualificationsFlexible benefit and well-being schemesEnhanced sick pay schemeEnhanced Family Friendly Policies, including enhanced Maternity pay36.25 hour working weekBirthday leave in the month of your birthday2 giving back days per year The Requirements: We are looking for an experienced corporate Insolvency Administrator with between one to five years’ relevant experience, looking for their next opportunityPrevious experience of administrations preferred but not essentialExperience of managing a diverse caseload from start to completionExperience of liaising directly with clients from the initial meeting onwardsGood numeracy and analytical skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAttention to detail and accuracyAbility to identify and deal with high-risk issuesFlexible attitude with an ability to adaptableAbility to manage competing priorities in a varied case portfolioExcellent team playerStrong organisational skillsAbility to work on own initiative and be proactiveExcellent interpersonal skillsAs the role requires analysis and preparation of financial data, an accountancy or insolvency qualification would be desirable but is not essential.
