This is an exciting opportunity to work in a business that values innovation, invests in its people and offers genuine opportunities for career development.The RoleYou’ll play a key role in supporting and developing the organisation’s Oracle database estate, ensuring business-critical systems remain secure, resilient, and high performing.Working closely with development and infrastructure teams, you’ll be responsible for maintaining Oracle databases, optimising performance, and supporting ongoing technology improvements across the business.Key ResponsibilitiesAdminister and maintain Oracle database environmentsMonitor database health, performance, and availabilityManage backups, restores, migrations and disaster recoverySupport database patching, upgrades, and maintenanceTroubleshoot and resolve database performance issuesMaintain Oracle Enterprise Manager and Oracle WebLogic environmentsAutomate routine administration tasks where possibleEnsure database security, compliance, and best practiceCollaborate with IT teams to deliver reliable, high-quality servicesAbout YouYou’ll have experience in Oracle Database Administration and be confident working within enterprise environments.You’ll also have:Oracle Database Administration experience (Oracle 19c or later preferred)Experience with backup and recovery, performance tuning, and database securityOracle Enterprise Manager experienceOracle WebLogic experienceLinux operating systems and shell scripting knowledgeStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication skills with a collaborative approachExperience with Oracle Engineered Systems, high availability environments or infrastructure automation would be advantageous but is not essential.What’s in it for You?Salary up to £55,000Annual performance-related bonus25 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, increasing with serviceEmployee Assistance ProgrammeDeath in Service benefitOngoing training and career developmentThe opportunity to join a supportive team within a well-established and growing organisationApply TodayIf you’re an Oracle Database Administrator looking to take the next step in your career, we’d love to hear from you.Apply now or get in touch for a confidential discussion.
