Management Accountant
A highly regarded Pan-European Real Estate and Hospitality investment group is expanding its Finance function and is looking to appoint a Group Management Accountant to support one of its growing businesses within the care home sector.This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant or strong QBE professional to join a fast-moving, entrepreneurial organisation where you will work closely with the CFO and senior leadership team, gaining broad exposure across financial reporting, commercial analysis, process improvement and operational finance.The Group invests across a diverse range of asset classes, acquiring and developing businesses with a focus on long-term growth. This role will play a key part in strengthening financial controls, improving reporting processes and supporting decision-making across a portfolio of care homes.The RoleReporting directly into the CFO, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely management reporting of the care home group, ensuring robust financial controls, insightful analysis and effective processes are in place. Key responsibilities include:Management Reporting & Commercial FinancePrepare accurate monthly management accounts across the care home portfolio.Produce financial reporting and analysis for senior stakeholders.Support budgeting, forecasting and cash flow planning.Provide meaningful variance analysis and commercial insight to support business decisions.Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.Revenue & Billing ManagementOversee resident fee billing and other revenue streams, ensuring accuracy and timely invoicing.Review billing processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and cash collection.Work closely with operational teams to resolve discrepancies and improve financial accuracy.Group Accounting & ControlsManage inter-company transactions, reconciliations and balances.Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations.Investigate variances and resolve accounting issues.Support audit processes and year-end reporting.Process Improvement & Team SupportIdentify opportunities to improve finance processes, reporting accuracy and operational efficiency.Work collaboratively with care home managers and operational teams.Support and develop the Purchase Ledger Clerk, ensuring strong financial controls are maintained.About YouYou will ideally be a qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA) or qualified by experience with strong management accounting experience gained within a multi-site, group or commercially driven environment.
