The successful candidate will have a strong background in data integration, transformation, and loading processes, along with excellent problem-solving skills. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining ETL processes to support data infrastructure and analytics needs. Key Responsibilities for the position of Data/ETL Engineer Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using Ab Initio.Write and maintain scripts in Bash and Python for data manipulation and automation.Develop and optimise SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading in PSQL and Oracle databases.Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.Monitor and troubleshoot ETL processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity.Perform data profiling, cleansing, and validation to ensure high-quality data.Document ETL processes, data flows, and technical specifications.Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in data engineering and ETL.
