Data Security Lead
DISCOVER your opportunity The Data Security Lead is responsible for the data security practice within AXAXL. Maintaining and configuring data security controls to protect AXAXL data. Prevent and detect data security incidents and breaches. What will your essential responsibilities include? This role reports to the Head of Security Operations.This role is responsible for the leadership of the:AXAXL Data Security practice to enable prevention, detection and response of data security incidents and breaches.Operation of Data Security IT controls (for example: Varonis, DLP, AIP, MIP)To provide Data Security expertise, guidance and systems needed to execute strategic and operational plans.Contribute to the development, implementation, delivery and support of the IT Security strategy aligned with wider Information Security Strategy and with AXA Group Operations Security strategy and ensure alignment of Data Security to comply and support these different strategies.Regularly report on the delivery and performance of the Data Security controls.Work with the CTO, Group Security, Information Security and IT Security Product Management to ensure the Data security controls that are managed by this role have service descriptions, metrics and development roadmaps.Develop the data security team so they have the relevant skills and qualifications.Manage / drive AXAXLCTO, and relevant engineering resources (AXA GO, Accenture, Varonis, Microsoft etc.) to develop and maintain suitable product development roadmaps for the Data Security products this role is accountable forUndertake regular security service review meetings with vendors to measure the service delivery of the data security controls.Drive performance and build the capability required to ensure the security of new and existing services.Work across the Extended GT leadership to promote intra-department security mindedness.Influence, change and impact decisions with both internal and external stakeholdersWork with industry, including security manufacturers and security consultants, to drive best practiceContinuously improve the Data Security posture to reduce risk.Represent Data Security at appropriate risk oversight committees and boards.Provide Data security requirements to IT projects and ensure their appropriate implementation. Work with projects teams delivering Data security projects to ensure they deliver products of a suitable quality and that they are sustainable.Promote a culture of secure by design and left shift security throughout our project development lifecycle and delivery processesManage and oversee the day-to-day activities of any Data security outsourced suppliers.Provide IT Security advice and guidance on all cybersecurity related matters and ensure the wider technology teams are engaged and supported.Champion learning, development and accreditation, cultivate talent and foster an inclusive, diverse and motivated workforce.
