Data Architect
Robert Half Technology are assisting UK's market leading accountancy organisation to recruit a Data Architect on a 12 month contract. Role Develop and implement data architecture standards and processes. This includes defining the data model, data architecture, data integration, and data security standards.Responsible for analysing and documenting data architecture to ensure that it meets our requirements and meets the data security and compliance standards.Maintain data warehouse and ETL processes - Responsible for managing data warehouse and ETL processes to ensure that data is stored and managed.Recommend data technologies - Responsible for recommending data technologies that are best suited to meet our data needs.Develop data quality standards - Responsible for managing data quality standards to ensure that the data is accurate and up-to-date.Support system integration efforts - Responsible for supporting system integration efforts to ensure that data is transferred between systems.Responsible for creating and maintaining comprehensive Data Architecture artefacts to support Association's Enterprise Data Architect.Work closely with Data Architect and Data Governance Leads to set out the Data Strategy and help align with the road map. Profile 6+ years of experience working as a Data Architect or related role.Proven experience in data modelling and architecture.Strong knowledge of data warehouse and OLAP structuresExpert knowledge of data architecture principles, techniques, and tools. Advanced knowledge of technologies such as FiveTran, Snowflake, Power BI, Sql coding, Data Cataloguing and ClassificationAdvanced knowledge of software design and development methodologies, such as Agile and Waterfall. Expertise in data mining, data warehousing, and ETL processes. Ability to understand and document business requirements to develop data models and architectures that meet them. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify problems and develop solutions quickly and effectively. Experience with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.Ability to mine information from current system designs and create data flows end-to-end.Knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. Knowledge of data security and privacy regulations, such as GDPR and HIPAA. Ability to understand complex business processes and translate them into technology solutions.
