The Master Data Analyst will primarily be responsible for creating and maintaining product master data primarily relating to Supply Chain activities. The key objective of the role is and to ensure that the data is loaded right first time, actively and accurately maintained throughout the product lifecycle. Outside of the core role of master data, you will also have the opportunity to analyse various areas of the supply chain with a view to raise awareness and drive improvements. You will also be involved in projects within the DMG team and supply chain. Key Responsibilities: Responsible for the product master data through the full product lifecycle, from creation to end of life. Scope of data includes finished goods, packaging and marketing/POS materialsAccountable for the coordination, and the timely completion of the new product creation process, to ensure all steps are correctly and timely undertaken by every stakeholder in the creation chainIdentify areas for continuous improvement across processes and procedures for managing, maintaining and validating material master dataBatch or manual loading of master data into SAP based on ad-hoc or regular requests into the teamPerform detailed data validation and accuracy checks, including data error handling, exception reporting and compliance with standards / legislationReport regularly on data management processes to suggest improvements or alignments to the evolving needs of the business and the regulatory environmentMaintenance of EMEA Product HierarchyManage the material sales statuses throughout the product lifecycleVerification and loading of Packaging, WEEE and Battery data to SAPPerform detailed data validation and accuracy checks, including data error handling, exception reporting and compliance with standards / legislation for PackagingGovernance reporting for unit of measure and packaging, creating actions to follow up on gaps and issuesIdentification of process and data handling improvement for logistical data and packaging, WEEE and battery data. To support the implementation of the approved improvementsProvide problem solving support, advice and guidance to internal customersMake use of data analytics to answer key business questions outside of master data by providing both qualitative and quantitative analysis on requestResponsible for ensuring all master data processes are documented and storedTo lead some improvement projects within the DMG team, from identification, analysis, approval and executionTo participate in larger cross functional projects as subject matter expertWhat you will need:A minimum of 3 years experience of handling product master data, preferably in an ERP environment. Specifically transactional data input (manual or via mass import), as well as data extraction and analysisWorking knowledge of SAP ERP, especially Material Management (MM) module is highly essentialExcellent verbal and written communication skills with a track record of engaging with multiple stakeholdersProduct lifecycle knowledge and understanding highly desirableHighly motivated, with strong analytical and problem-solving skillsHigh levels of attention to detail and accuracySelf-motivated and able to deal with high levels of complexityDisplay a clear passion for master data management, with a desire to learn about new areas and developing new areas of expertiseAppreciates what constitutes good customer service and displays a commitment to delivering thisComfortable pushing back with customers and stakeholders to protect the integrity of the data management processExperience using Business Intelligence platforms desirableAdvanced skills in MS Excel a mustEducated to degree level (or similar) desirableMust be able to travel within Europe
