What will you be doing day to day? Deliver business insights by analysing and visualizing data to support SGN's Future of Energy strategy.Close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to source and transfer data across systems.Manage, clean, abstract, and aggregate data alongside a range of analytical studies on that data, with the ability to manipulate and link different data sets.Support conversations with stakeholders using data analysis to influence and build SGN’s reputation for expertise in the transition of the Energy system.Present data and conclusions in appropriate formats for internal and external users, highlighting benefits to the business and external parties. What you’ll need A Degree or equivalent in either math, statistics, or computer science and a commitment to Energy transition. Communication - You're a skilled communicator who can engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You're confident in leading discussions within multidisciplinary teams, managing divergent perspectives, and representing the team externally.Data Management - You comprehend data governance and how it works in relation to other organisational governance structures. You can participate in or deliver the assurance of a service.Data Modelling and Data Visualisation - You can use the most appropriate medium to visualise data to tell compelling stories that are relevant to business goals and can be acted upon.Logical and Creative Thinking - You can respond to problems in databases, data processes, data products, and services as they occur. You can initiate actions, monitor services, and identify trends to resolve issues.Project management - You can apply your knowledge and experience of project management methodologies, including tools and techniques. You can adopt those most appropriate for the environment.
