The client is outsourcing its middle office operations to State Street and implementing CRIMS, with a strong focus on the State Street Alpha Data Platform.This role sits at the intersection of business, data, and technology, requiring deep investment management data expertise and the ability to translate business needs into detailed technical specifications.Key ResponsibilitiesWork closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and third-party vendors to gather and document data requirementsAnalyse and map investment data across front, middle, and back-office functionsDefine and document data flows, data models, and integration points, particularly relating to the State Street Alpha platformProduce clear, structured functional and technical specifications for data solutionsSupport the implementation of CRIMS and integration with outsourced middle office servicesPerform data gap analysis, data lineage tracking, and data quality assessmentsFacilitate workshops and act as a bridge between business and technical teamsRequired Skills & ExperienceStrong experience as a Business Analyst within Investment Management (essential)Deep understanding of investment data domains (e.g. trades, positions, securities, pricing, corporate actions)Experience working with outsourced operating models, ideally involving State StreetKnowledge of the State Street Alpha Data Platform (highly desirable)Proven ability to write detailed technical requirements and data specificationsExperience with data mapping, data modelling, and data integration projectsFamiliarity with middle office processes and systemsStrong stakeholder management and communication skillsDesirableExperience with CRIMS or similar investment data platformsKnowledge of data governance and data quality frameworksExposure to large-scale transformation or outsourcing programmes
