SEND Administrator
Location: Richmond Upon ThamesStart Date: SeptemberContract: Initially 3 Days per Week (Increasing to 5 Days per Week)Pay: £18+ per hourWe are currently recruiting for a highly organised and proactive SEND Administrator to join a busy and supportive education setting. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator, ideally with a background in Education, Further Education, SEND, or Student Services, who is passionate about supporting learners with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).You will play a key role in providing administrative support to the SEND team, ensuring learner records, documentation, and support processes are maintained efficiently and accurately.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive administrative support to the SEND department.Maintain accurate learner records, including SEND documentation and confidential files.Support the administration of EHCPs (Education, Health and Care Plans) and annual reviews.Coordinate meetings, reviews, and appointments for learners, parents/carers, and staff.Prepare and distribute correspondence, reports, and documentation.Update and manage internal databases and tracking systems.Liaise with teaching staff, support staff, external agencies, and parents/carers as required.Monitor learner support arrangements and ensure records remain up to date.Support the onboarding of new learners requiring SEND provision.Ensure compliance with GDPR, safeguarding, and confidentiality requirements.Assist with general administrative duties including data entry, filing, minute-taking, and responding to enquiries.Essential Skills & ExperiencePrevious administrative experience within an education, college, school, or training environment.Strong organisational and time-management skills.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.Proficient in Microsoft Office packages, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.Experience maintaining confidential records and handling sensitive information.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently and manage a busy workload.Professional and approachable manner when dealing with learners, staff, and external stakeholders.Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.Why Work With Us?Exclusive access to roles in leading FE colleges and training providers1-to-1 support from a Specialist SEN Consultant (CV tips & interview prep!)Health Cash Plan & REED Discount ClubStatutory Sick Pay, Maternity/Paternity/Adoption PayAccess to REED Learning & Development programmesEye test and spectacle vouchersIf this role sounds of interest, please Apply Today!
