Job Summary This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Customs Clearance Shift Clerk Assistant! You will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth flow of international trade by assisting with import/export customs declarations and other operational duties. Shift pattern as follows: 4 on 4 off. Hours - Days 1 & 2 - 07.00 to 19.00 Days 2 & 3 - 19.00 to 07.00 Responsibilities Complete import and export customs declarations accurately and efficiently.Assist senior customs clerks with completing customs paperwork as needed.Contribute to other operational tasks within the office as directed by the manager. Skills Minimum of 1 year's customs clearance experience is a must have requirement.Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel spreadsheets.Strong IT literacy and ability to learn new software programs.Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines consistently.Conscientious and detail-oriented with a keen eye for accuracy.Team player with a collaborative spirit.Ability to identify and report problems proactively.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to communicate politely and efficiently with clients and colleagues.
