My market leading St. Helens based client are a leading specialist in high-quality bespoke product. Due to the business going through a period of growth my client is looking to recruit an experienced Customer Service / Sales Order Processor to start as soon as possible on a temporary to permanent basis.  You will be required to work from 08:00 - 16:30 Monday – Thursday & 08:00 – 15:30 on Friday (39 hours per week) and the annual salary will be £24,762 rising to £26,364 following 3 months. A key focus of the job is Sales Order Processing, ensuring all orders are entered correctly, on time, and with exceptional attention to detail. Job Description Sales Order Processing - Accurately input daily customer orders into the internal system. Validate order details, pricing, quantities, and delivery instructions before processing. Ensure all orders are raised promptly to maintain workflow and meet dispatch timelines. Liaise with production, warehouse, and account managers to resolve any order discrepancies. Customer Communication - Answer incoming calls within 3 rings, handling queries professionally and courteously. Monitor and respond to customer emails in a timely and efficient manner. Provide updates on order status, delivery times, and product information when required. Returns & Damages - Log returns and damaged goods on the system accurately. Communicate with customers to resolve issues and organise replacements or credits. Work with the warehouse team to investigate and close out return/damage claims. General Administration - Maintain up-to-date customer records and documentation. Support colleagues with administrative tasks as needed. Use spreadsheets for basic data input and order tracking (experience helpful but not essential).
