Job Title - Customer Service Agent Job Location - Brentwood JOB OVERVIEW This role of a Customer Service Agent requires excellent administrative, communication, customer service, organisational and coordination skills. You will need to provide a professional, helpful and efficient customer service and administrative support to the Service Department. Working within the Service Department answering all incoming calls, primarily from customers, resolving any queries and completing administrative tasks for the Service Department. You will be customer focused with excellent administrative skills and a pro-active approach to work with the flexibility to take on new tasks. DUTIES Your main duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Respond and take ownership of all calls in a timely and effective mannerDeal with queries from customers and engineers by phone or email and resolve issues as they ariseProvide admin support for the service department, to include ensuring the in-house system and all necessary spreadsheets are kept up to dateEnsuring the correct costs are added to jobs and that they are closed down as soon as possible, to prevent invoicing delays. This also includes chasing subcontractors for their invoicesScheduling engineers’ daily work within the designated areasTaking breakdowns and arranging attendanceOn occasions you may need to locate parts from stores and / or suppliers and ensuring they reach the required locations on timeAny other administrative duties as requiredAssisting team members where necessary REQUIREMENTS Able to provide a professional, helpful and efficient customer serviceHave excellent communication and administrative skillsHighly organised due to the high demands this role sometimes requiresAble to prioritise work and have excellent organisational skillsComputer LiterateAble to work in a busy environmentGood team playerPro-active in your approach to workCan take ownership of jobs and see them through to completionFlexible to take on new tasks and to work outside of your comfort zoneBe Customer focussed Shift Pattern Working a rolling 5 on 3 off shift pattern (Monday to Sunday), on a rotation of working hours of 07:00hrs to 15:00hrs 08:00hrs to 16:00hrs and 12:00hrs to 20:00 hrs.
