Customer Service Advisor
REED Business Support are pleased to be working with one of Edinburgh’s well established Housing Associations, who are looking to recruit a ‘Customer Service Advisor’ on a Temporary basis. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for tenants reporting repairs and maintenance issues. You will ensure that all enquiries are handled efficiently, empathetically, and in line with our service standards. Details: Full Time Monday – Friday £15/hr Work Pattern – 9am – 5pm (1 Hour Break) Office Based Role Temporary Role – 2 – 3 Months Start Date: ASAP Location – Central Edinburgh Key Responsibilities: Respond to repair requests via phone, email, and online portals.Accurately log and prioritise repair jobs using our internal systems.Liaise with contractors and internal teams to schedule and follow up on repairs.Provide updates to tenants and ensure they are kept informed throughout the process.Handle complaints and escalate issues where necessary.Maintain accurate records and contribute to service improvement initiatives. What we're looking for: Previous experience in a customer service or call centre environment, ideally within housing or repairs.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong IT skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly.A calm and professional manner, especially when dealing with challenging situations.A team player with a proactive and solution-focused approach.PVG Scheme membership (active or expired) is preferred.
