The main aim of this position is to build long term relationships with clients, monitor overall client accounts and prevent clients defaulting and resolve any payment issues effectively & efficiently. Working Hours: 08:30am - 17:00pm, Monday to Friday. Hybrid working: For the first 3 months the role is office based and there after 2 days in the office and 3 days at home although they are happy for you to be purely office based if you prefer Salary: Up to £25,000 per annum. Your responsibilities as a Credit Controller Develop and maintain strong working relationships with clients’ accounts payable teamProduce monthly spreadsheets for major accounts and reconcile differences with clientProduce monthly client statements and forward these to the client as requestedRaise credit notes and refunds when requiredMonitor overall client indebtedness, liaise with clients, team leaders and the Finance Manager to prevent default and resolve any payment issuesProvide adhoc reports on clientsReconcile own ledgerProduce information for auditors as requiredPerform general accounts duties, including data entry and cash allocation Required attributes as a Credit Controller 2 years experience required.Organised and able to work on own initiativesFriendly and able to work well within a teamExperience of general office applications eg Word, Outlook essential, as is use of Excel at least to intermediate level.Excellent telephone manner in keeping with our professional client base.Ability to create and maintain productive working relationships with all clients both internal and external.Able to participate as a team member in the Accounts team.
