Corporate Tax Manager Responsibilities: Monitor UK tax developments and assess their impact on the organisation Strengthen tax governance through robust controls, documentation and risk-management processes Oversee timely UK tax filings, including Corporation Tax (CT600) & computations, Quarterly instalment payments (QIPs) & deferred tax, VAT returns & MTD compliance, PAYE, NIC and all employment taxes, Stamp Duty and SDLT on relevant transactions Manage Corporate Interest Restriction (CIR) rules, interest returns and group ratio elections Develop and deliver tax strategies to optimise the group's tax burden, leveraging reliefs such as R&D, capital allowances, loss relief and group loss relief Oversee transfer pricing documentation and ensure UK intercompany transactions comply with OECD and HMRC guidance. Business Tax Manager / Corporate Tax Manager - SUPERB ROLEMcGinnis Loy Associates is proud to be working with a Top Accountancy Practice who have seen vast growth over the last three years and are looking to recruit a new Corporate Tax Manager for their growing team in SW London, to focus on multi-national clients. The position is to support the London & Thames Valley offices, and the role would suit an ACA, ACCA or ideally CTA Qualified tax specialist from Top100 or well-known Regional Accountancy practice firm, or someone in Industry looking to return to the profession. Key duties include:Providing corporate tax compliance and advisory services in support of the Corporate Tax Director to a client portfolio.Maximising fee income and generating new client consultancy work from a portfolio.Managing a corporate tax team of four, ensuring efficient production and quality levels are met and that staff are developed to achieve their full potential.Managing the compliance cycle for a portfolio of corporate tax clients and reviewing CT600 returns.Reviewing work carried out by junior team members to ensure corporate tax work is completed within timeframes and budgetResponding to corporate tax queries from clients and undertaking partners billingProviding advice to business clients on a wide range of corporate tax matters (both domestic and international)Attending client meetings and presentations, corresponding with clients and external agenciesTo be considered for the role you should be ACA, ACCA or ideally CTA qualified with sound knowledge of UK corporate taxation, and an awareness of international tax issues would be a distinct advantage.
