Corporate Financial Planner
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Corporate Financial Planner to join a highly regarded, independent wealth management firm.This role offers immediate responsibility for a well-established, high-quality client portfolio of circa 300 corporate clients, with the current adviser retiring within the next 12 months. The initial focus will be on relationship management, continuity, and client retention, ensuring a smooth transition before moving into a more growth-oriented phase.Clients are predominantly based across the North M25 region (Essex, Hertfordshire, and surrounding areas). The role is primarily home-based, with most client interaction conducted via video, alongside some travel where required.The RoleYou will provide specialist corporate financial planning advice, primarily focused on:Workplace pensions and employee benefit schemesSupporting employers with regulatory requirements and complianceBusiness protection, succession, and exit planningProfit extraction strategies and key person planningYou will build strong relationships with business owners and senior stakeholders, delivering tailored financial solutions aligned to their commercial objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and develop an existing portfolio of corporate clientsDeliver high-quality, compliant financial planning adviceConduct regular client reviews and adapt strategies as business needs evolveBuild long-term relationships with key decision-makersIdentify opportunities to expand and develop the client book over timeCollaborate with professional introducers (accountants, tax advisers, etc.)Ensure all advice meets FCA and regulatory standardsAbout YouDiploma qualified (Level 4 minimum)Proven experience in corporate financial planning or employee benefitsStrong understanding of pensions, group schemes, and business planningAbility to interpret company accounts and provide strategic adviceExcellent relationship management and communication skillsCommercially minded with a consultative approachFull UK driving licence requiredWhat’s on OfferEstablished, loyal client bank with strong ongoing incomeClear transition plan from retiring adviserHome-based flexibility with autonomyStrong earnings potential (OTE £120k–£130k)Comprehensive benefits package including:25 days holiday + bank holidays (option to buy more)Employer pension contribution (6%)Life cover (4x salary)Private medical insuranceDiscretionary bonus schemeThis is a rare opportunity to inherit a high-quality, well-maintained client portfolio within a supportive and professional environment.
