This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for shaping and delivering a proactive, high-quality People & Culture service across the organisation.Reporting to the Executive Director of People & Culture, you will lead and inspire the People Partnering team, ensuring the delivery of strategic and operational HR support aligned to TEC Partnership's vision of enriching lives through excellent education, community collaboration, and employment opportunities.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, develop, and inspire the People Partnering team across multiple sitesAct as a trusted strategic partner to senior leaders, influencing organisational directionEmbed a proactive people partnering model across the employee lifecycleContribute to People & Culture strategy, plans, and objectives aligned with corporate goalsEmployee RelationsProvide expert guidance on complex ER matters including disciplinaries, grievances, redundancies, and TUPEOversee ER caseloads and support the development of the partnering teamEnsure compliance with employment law and best practiceLead on Employment Tribunal cases and liaise with legal advisorsBuild effective relationships with trade unions and lead consultationsPolicy & PerformanceLead the development, review, and implementation of HR policies and proceduresChair the People & Culture policy groupSupport performance management processes including appraisals and probation reviewsDeliver manager toolkits, training, and coachingChange ManagementProvide strategic leadership on organisational design, restructuring, and change initiativesEnsure effective communication, employee engagement, and long-term sustainability of changeStakeholder EngagementBuild strong relationships with leaders across the organisationAttend leadership and departmental meetings, providing expert HR adviceCoach and mentor managers to build leadership capabilityData & ReportingMonitor KPIs, analyse HR metrics, and present insights to senior stakeholdersDevelop Service Level Agreements for People Partnering servicesAbout YouWe are looking for a confident and credible HR leader with strong strategic and operational experience.Essential:Degree and/or relevant professional experienceCIPD Level 5 qualificationStrong knowledge of employment law and HR best practiceProven experience managing teams, ideally across multiple sitesExtensive experience in change management and complex caseworkExcellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skillsDesirable:CIPD Level 7 or Chartered MembershipExperience within the education sector (FE/HE preferred)Experience developing HR strategies and business plansTo register your interest or to arrange a confidential discussion to go through this opportunity in more detail, please apply today!
