A unique opportunity has arisen for a Corporate Lawyer to join a key client of ours on a flexible consultancy basis. This client is an innovative law firm, dedicated to servicing entrepreneurial clients to include start-ups and SMEs. They pride themselves on their 'people first' approach and their recently obtained B-Corp status. This consultancy arrangement is non-exclusive, capable of sitting alongside other projects, and can be undertaken on a fully remote basis. The successful Lawyer can expect to be provided with work from the firm, with a competitive hourly rate to support this. Should Lawyers also be interested in building their own client book of business, the firm will support these endeavours and will award the Lawyer with a fee share of any resulting work. A desire to BD and build a book of business is NOT required, however. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a corporate paralegal to join a leading UK law firm. The successful individual will be responsible for supporting the lawyers on a variety of deals, their deals vary in size but the average is £20-30 million (some have been over £100 million). This a permanent role which will has the potential to lead to a training contract. Candidates will be required to attend the office in the West End of London four days a week. This is a fantastic opportunity to get involved with a large volume of due diligence work as well as the preparation of ancillary documents. Applicants will have gained previous experience of working as a paralegal within a corporate department and will have been exposed to the "dealside" transactions. Knowledge of due diligence processes and ancillary documents is highly advantageous. You will have completed a law degree or equivalent as well as the LPC or SQE.
