You will be advising entrepreneurs and private companies on the whole spectrum of tax issues - this includes start-ups and new investments, buy-outs, EIS, employee incentives, profit extraction and executive remuneration; re-sale tax planning, company sales and acquisitions, personal tax issues for shareholders; succession issues and company reorganisations. You will also have the opportunity to provide consultancy services to other professionals, such as law firms and accountants.What you'll need to succeedThe Firm is looking for at least 3 years post qualified experience, ideally within a National Firm. A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a highly experienced Senior Corporate Paralegal to join a multi-national law firm as the Head of Department, and as such this role would be very much a 'step up' from a regular Paralegal position. This is a permanent, full-time position based in either the Birmingham or Manchester office. In this role, the successful candidate will manage a team of paralegals on delivery of work to both Lawyers and external clients. This will include day to day supervision, training and development and management of direct reports. This lucrative role would be performed on a hybrid basis, with 3 days a week in the office. Although excellent academics are always welcome, the key factor in this role is relevant experience due to the Seniority and responsibility of the position.
