My client is looking for a Corporation Tax Specialist to join their Tax Team. Duties: You will specialise in Corporation Tax.You will service the firms largest stand-alone and client groups, primarily within the travel industry, with the largest client having a turnover in excess of £1bn.Reporting directly to the Tax Director, you will be responsible for the provision of tax compliance and consultancy services to this growing portfolio of clients.Working alongside, and supervising, a corporation tax junior.You will be required to liaise with the audit team in ensuring statutory accounts provide for materially correct tax provisions.Liaise directly with clients to ensure CT600s are finalised and submitted in good time.Pre-year end client tax planning meetings and participation in consultancy projects will be required. Requirements: You should at least be ATT qualified.Have at least 3-4 years’ dedicated corporation tax experience, with progression to CTA encouraged and available if not already qualified at this level.Be familiar with, and have working knowledge of group tax planning, including group relief planning, group payment arrangements and overall tax mitigation. Be familiar with, and have a working knowledge of Senior Accounting Officer requirements, publishing Tax Strategies, Corporate Interest Restrictions and Country By Country Reporting.Transfer pricing knowledge would also be a plus.
