Conveyancing Fee-Earner Salary: £35,000- £70,000 (dependant on experience)Location: GillinghamJob Type: Full-time or Part-Time Are you a skilled Residential Property (Conveyancing) Fee-Earner with a passion for conveyancing and a drive to grow your career? We’re looking for a confident, experienced professional to join their expanding team at a well-established and respected law firm in Gillingham. Day-to-day of the role: Manage all aspects of the conveyancing process, including sales, purchases, re-mortgages, and transfers of equity.Conduct property searches and investigations to identify any potential issues.Examine and advise on title documents, contracts, and other legal documents.Draft and negotiate contracts and other legal documents related to property transactions.Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and financial requirements.Communicate effectively with clients, keeping them informed and providing clear advice.Liaise with estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other solicitors to facilitate transactions.Handle the exchange of contracts and completion of transactions.Register property ownership with the Land Registry and deal with post-completion matters. Required Skills & Qualifications: Qualified Solicitor, CILEX, Licensed Conveyancer or a Senior Paralegal acting at a Fee-Earner capacity.A minimum of 3 years’ experience in conveyancing, with a strong understanding of residential property law.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy caseload.High attention to detail and accuracy.Proficiency in using conveyancing software and other relevant IT systems.Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.Commitment to providing a high standard of client care.
