The firm is growing and now looking to welcome an experienced Conveyancing Fee Earner into its team — someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys helping clients, and would value a flexible working arrangement that fits around life and family. About the Role You’ll manage your own caseload of residential matters (around 30 new matters per month for full-time), with the support of two experienced secretaries. You’ll be responsible for all aspects of the transaction from instruction through to completion, working closely with clients to ensure a smooth and personable service. Whether you’re looking for full-time or part-time hours, the firm is open to finding the right fit for you — offering hybrid working, school hours where needed, and a supportive approach to balancing home and work commitments. What You’ll Be Doing Handling a caseload of residential conveyancing matters (volume adjusted for part-time)Managing transactions including sales, purchases, leasehold, remortgage and transfers of equityLiaising directly with clients, agents, lenders and other solicitorsOverseeing file progression with support from two secretariesMaintaining compliance and excellent service standardsBeing a key part of a friendly and approachable property team What We’re Looking For An experienced conveyancing fee earner, either qualified (Solicitor, Legal Executive, Licensed Conveyancer) or unqualified with a strong background in managing filesConfident in running a caseload independentlyClear, friendly communicator with strong client care skillsOrganised, proactive, and comfortable working as part of a close-knit teamSomeone who values flexibility, consistency and a supportive work culture What’s on Offer Salary between £35,000 - £65,000, depending on experiencePerformance-related bonus linked to firm profitsFlexible working - full-time or part-time hours availableHybrid working with a mix of home and officeSupportive, people-focused firm with a strong local reputationA genuinely friendly, professional environment with long-term career prospects Whether you're returning to work after a break, juggling family commitments, or simply seeking a better work-life balance — this could be the role for you.
